The 2010/11 season is Shane's 15th as the Storm's Head Athletic Therapist. His principal role with the hockey club includes the management of all medical related issues and the treatment of all injuries.
Prior to joining the Storm, Shane worked for three seasons as an athletic therapist with the Montreal Canadiens' AHL affiliate in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
In addition to working with the Storm, Shane and his wife Cherie own and operate Wellington Physiotherapy Associates. At the clinic, Shane works as an Athletic Therapist. It is at Wellington Physiotherapy Associates that all injured Guelph Storm athletes receive their physiotherapy.
