Mike Kelly Vice President/GM

The former OHL Executive of the year in 1994-95 with the Guelph Storm, re-joined the team as Vice President and General Manager in November of 2010, after a brief 13-year absence.

The man who will oversee the team’s Hockey Operations has been in the business for a long time. He was the General Manager with the Guelph Storm during the team’s inaugural year of 1991, and stayed until 1997, winning an OHL title with the team in 1996. He then became the Director of Amateur Scouting with the Calgary Flames for two years, before he was offered a job as the Vice President and General Manager of the Windsor Spitfires, lasting seven years. After a year as head coach in 2006-2007 with the Niagara Ice Dogs, he worked for Hockey Club Alleghe in Italy. In 2010, he came back to North America where he worked as a Pro Scout with the Carolina Hurricanes, and shortly thereafter became Vice President and General Manager of the Guelph Storm Hockey Organization.

Mike and his wife Denise reside in Guelph.
