A two-time Guelph Storm captain, Chris joined the Storm coaching staff for the 2008-09 season.

After a decorated junior career in the Royal City, Hajt graduated to the pro ranks.  His Storm career included a pair of appearances at the prestigious World Junior Hockey Championship (1997, 1998) representing his native USA. Also with the Storm, Chris appeared in a pair of Memorial Cups (1996, 1998).

Chris retired from pro hockey after a 10 year career that saw him play six games in the NHL with brief stops in Edmonton and Washington.  The two-time Storm MVP also played in the AHL, ECHL, German Elite League, Finnish National League and Italian Premier League.

Chris and his family live in Guelph.
