
Barb is in her second season as skating coach of the Storm. A member of the Canadian Olympic team in 1980 and 1984, Barb was a pairs skater with partner Paul Martini. A very illustrious skating career, Barb excelled at both the amateur and the professional ranks. Throughout her amateur career, Barb was a Canadian pairs champion three times (1979-1983) and a World Champion once (1984). She was a seven time World Professional Champion once she turned pro and won the World Cup and World Challenge in 1989 and 1986 respectively. After skating, Barb worked as a colour commentator, including thirteen World Championships and four Olympics Games for CBC, CTV and TSN.
Barb was recently inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame in March 2009 and has since been hired by the Anaheim Ducks as the Technical Skating Coach for the teams prospects.
