YEAR IN REVIEW... During the 1999-00 season the Storm finished below .500 for the first time since the 1992-93 season. Unfortunately, the team never came together under first year head coach Paul Gillis and finished the season with a disappointing 29-35-4-1 record, good enough for fourth place in the division and eighth overall in the Western Conference. In the playoffs, Guelph drew a tough opponent in the Plymouth Whalers. After trailing the series 2-0, Plymouth won four consecutive games to eliminate Guelph from the playoffs.
