The 'voice of your Storm' Larry Mellott of 1460 CJOY sat down with former Storm winger and current LA Kings' captain Dustin Brown during the recent Alumni Weekend.
The Ithaca, New York native was originally selected by Guelph in the second round of the 2000 OHL Priority Selection. Brown went on to play three seasons in the Royal City racking up a number of team awards during his days before being grabbed by the Kings with the 13th overall pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
Brown chats with Larry about his days in a Storm uniform including what might have been when he graduated to the NHL with a year of OHL eligibility remaining in 2003/04.
Wondering what former players and hockey staff are up to these days? Throughout the off-season, GuelphStorm.com will post over fifty different 'Storm Sound' interview features with Larry Mellott from the Alumni Weekend.
