The Guelph Storm Hockey Club announced today that they have selected Russian defenceman Andrei Pedan with the 32nd overall pick in Tuesday's Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.
Pedan played with the Dynamo 93's last year and was most recently drafted in the first round of the 2010 KHL Draft by the UHC Dynamos. A good skater with a physical side, the 6’3”, 190 lbs defenceman is expected to play in the Royal City next year.
With neither Molotilov or Guskov returning to Guelph next year, Pedan fills one of two vacant European spots on the roster.
