Mathew Sisca had two goals and three assists while Taylor Beck added two goals and two assists as the Guelph Storm defeated the Sarnia Sting 7-4 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.

The win was the fourth in a row for the Storm as they continue to close the gap on sixth and seventh in the Western Conference.  Guelph's fate is in their own hands with two games remaining.  A pair of wins and Guelph will finish no lower than seventh.

Michael Latta added a goal and an assist for the Storm, while Cody McNaughton and Conor O'Donnell also scored.

Ron Soucie, Zack MacQueen, Kale Kerbashian and Brandon Francisco replied for Sarina, who made a game of it after falling behind 6-0 in the second period.

James Prigione and Brandon Foote combined for 27 saves for Guelph (33-29-4).

Shayne Campbell made 24 saves for Sarnia (16-46-5).

On Friday night, the Storm will host Erie and a regulation win over the Otters will move Guelph up in the standings.  Then on Saturday night, Guelph will play their third game in as many nights when they travel to Owen Sound for a 7:30 start to wrap up the 2009/10 regular season.  Playoff tickets for the Storm's Western Conference Quarterfinal series are currently on sale.  All regular price lower bowl tickets for the 1st round are only $10 as part of the Storm's 'Round One Rush' promotion.
