Guelph Storm forward Carter Sandlak has been handed a five-game suspension by the Ontario Hockey League for his hit to the head on Brampton Battalion defenceman Jason Auld.
The incident occurred Sept. 16 during an exhibition game in Brampton as Auld circled the Brampton net. Sandlak caught him with his head down and Sandlak’s upper arm made contact with Auld’s head. The Brampton player received a concussion on the play.
