Kyle Palmieri, a Guelph Storm 6th round pick in 2008 and a 1st round pick of the Anaheim Ducks in 2009, and his Team USA teammates will square off against Canada in a battle of unbeatens on TSN on Thursday night at the World Junior Hockey Championship.
The Montvale, New Jersey native is tied for the tournament lead in assists with six through three games.
Palmieri is currently in his freshman season with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The 5-10 right wingers has 7 points this season in 19 games.
