In what was arguably the biggest game of its season to date, the Storm came up flat Saturday night against the Owen Sound Attack, losing 6-2 at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
“I definitely hope this is one of those games where you want to put it in the past and don’t look back on it. Don’t get down on each other over it, just get back to work and focus on the next game,” Storm defenceman Adam Comrie said after what was easily the team’s worst game in several weeks.
A little odd, given that the two teams went into the night tied for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. As it stands, Guelph is now out of the playoffs with 13 games remaining in the regular season.
Monday they host the London Knights in a Family Day afternoon contest.
