The Guelph Storm will kick off the 2010-2011 season when the Owen Sound Attack visits the Sleeman Centre on Friday, September 24th.
The team's 68-game schedule sees them play 20 of their 34 home games Friday nights. There are six Sunday games, three games on both Wednesday and Saturday, and one on Family Day Monday.
The Ontario Hockey League schedule was released yesterday and it sees the Storm playing six of its first 10 games at home, and includes a 2:00pm game on New Year's Day.
The league also released the OHL pre-season schedule. The Storm will play a total of five exhibition games, including three at the Sleeman Centre.
Kicking off the pre-season schedule on the road, the Storm match up against the Barrie Colts on Saturday, September 11th before hosting the Niagara Ice Dogs on Sunday, September 12th at 2:00pm. Their next match up is against the Brampton Battalion on Thursday, September 16th before hosting the Barrie Colts on Friday, September 17th at 7:30 pm and wrapping up the pre-season schedule against the Brampton Battalion on the 19th at 2:00pm.
