CONTEST RULES

HOW TO PLAY
The objective of the 2010/11 Guelph Tribune OHL Hockey Pool is to accumulate the most number of Player Points (Goals + Assists) in accordance with these Official Rules. Each team you select will consist of Twelve (12) players: Six (6) Forwards,  One (1) Rookie, One (1) European born player and Four (4) Defencemen.  YOU MUST SELECT ONE AND ONLY ONE PLAYER FROM EACH OF THE TWELVE (12) GROUPS. To select a player, check the circle beside the player you wish to choose.

THE GAME
The 2010/11 Guelph Tribune OHL Hockey Pool is a contest (the "Contest") designed to test one's knowledge when it comes to predicting the performance of various hockey players. From all eligible entries received, winners will be determined based on their ability to use their skill and knowledge of hockey teams, players and related rules to accumulate the most Points in accordance with the Scoring System as described above and these Official Rules. This Contest is provided solely for entertainment purposes and cannot be used in connection with any form of gambling. The overall contest will coincide with the 2010/11 OHL Regular Season beginning September 22, 2010 and ending at the conclusion of the regular season.

HOW TO ENTER
To enter the 2010/11 Guelph Tribune OHL Hockey Pool complete the entry & registration form and mail, or drop off entries to:

Maximum one (1) entry per person. Any additional entries will disqualify all of your entries. There is no fee to play or submit your entry for the 2010/11 Guelph Tribune OHL Hockey Pool.

Overall Contest Entry Deadline: 4:59 p.m. ET, Tuesday, October 12th, 2010.  Mailed entries must be postmarked no later than Tuesday, October 12th, 2010.


ELIGIBILITY
No purchase necessary. This contest is open only to legal residents of Canada . Must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible to play. Employees of The Guelph Tribune or the Guelph Storm Hockey Club, or members of their immediate families, are not eligible to win.  If you are ineligible for the contest, you may play the game and have your place noted in the standings. However, you will not be eligible to win a prize.

STANDINGS AND UPDATES
Top 300 entrants will be updated on The Guelph Tribune website (www. guelphtribune.ca) on each Tuesday and Friday of the OHL regular season beginning Friday, October 22, 2010.
Top 10 Standings will be published in each edition of the Guelph Tribune during the OHL regular season beginning Thursday, October 21, 2010.
Monthly leaders (top point getter during each month) will be printed in each edition of the Guelph Tribune during the OHL regular season beginning Friday, October 16, 2009. 
NEW THIS SEASON… COMPLETE STANDINGS WILL BE PUBLISHED ONLY IN GUELPHSTORM E-NEWSLETTER. 

WINNERS AND PRIZES

Monthly Prizes

There will be six (6) monthly winner prizes awarded during the regular season (one prize per month October – March inclusive).  Minimum value of each monthly winner prize will be $25.00.

In the event of ties, the following tiebreakers will be used in the following order until all ties are broken for that month (based only on games played in that given contest month):

1. the entrant with the most number of Goals scored by all their players in that given month;
2. a random draw among all remaining tied entries

Mid-Season Prize

There will be one (1) Mid-Season winner prize awarded during the regular season.  Minimum value of Mid-Season winner prize will be $250.00 to be paid to the winner by cheque.

The Mid-Season winner prize will be awarded to the entrant with the most points accumulated up to and including games played on Sunday, December 19, 2010.

In the event of ties, the following tiebreakers will be used in the following order until all ties are broken for the Mid-Season Winner (based only on games played in that given contest period):

1. the entrant with the most number of Goals scored by all their players in games up to, and including Sunday, December 20, 2009.
2. a random draw among all remaining tied entries

PLEASE NOTE. All prizewinners are unofficial for a one week period after the completion of a given contest period. In the event there is a discrepancy please notify The Guelph Storm Hockey Club at the following email address: info@guelphstorm.com within the one week period, otherwise it will be assumed the standings are correct and the standings and prize winners will become official.

Overall Prize – NEW THIS SEASON!!

1st place finisher: $1,000.00 (to be paid to the winner by cheque).
2nd place finisher: $500.00 (to be paid to the winner by cheque).
3rd place finisher: $250.00 (to be paid to the winner by cheque).

The overall prizes will be awarded to the entrants with the most points accumulated for the entire 2010/11 OHL Regular Season.

In the event of ties, the following tiebreakers will be used in the following order until all ties are broken for the Mid-Season Winner (based only on games played in that given contest period):

1. The entrant with the most number of Goals scored by all their players during the 2010/11 OHL Regular Season.
2. a random draw among all remaining tied entries

PLEASE NOTE: Only one Overall Prize will be awarded per verified email address or household. Any subsequent prizes will be awarded to the next highest finisher. Prizes are not transferable. All prizes are in $ Cdn (if applicable).

7. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All entry forms become the property of The Guelph Tribune and The Guelph Storm Hockey Club. In any dispute, the decisions of The Guelph Tribune and the Guelph Storm Hockey Club will be final and binding on all parties. The decision of the judges is final.

All prizewinners will be notified within 2-4 weeks after the conclusion of the Overall Contest period. All taxes and any expenses not indicated herein are the sole responsibility of the winners. Players must notify the pool operators of any address change. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable in money or any other service. The Guelph Tribune reserves the right to unilaterally disqualify entries. The Guelph Tribune reserves the right to modify contest rules. The Guelph Tribune reserves the right to cancel the contest at

I can't seem to find the hockey pool on the Guelph Tribune site or the Guelph Storm site. Can you pont me in the right direction to fill out the hockey pool.
